Our Mission
The McFarland Education Foundation (MEF) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Its mission is to expand access to higher education by providing scholarships to McFarland graduates and to provide funding for initiatives that enhance education opportunities for McFarland Schools.
The Foundation is run and managed solely by committed community volunteers. We have awarded over 900 scholarships in the past 17 years, making the total of awarded scholarships to over $500,000. This would not be possible without the generous support of close to 400 individuals, businesses, and organizations within our community.

education advocates
Annual sponsorship as an education advocate directly supports the McFarland Education Foundation's annual operational expenses. This vital support ensures all other fundraising efforts and donations can be fully dedicated toward enhancing student education initiatives and providing scholarships.
